Mr. Aluisio Castro is a member of the Qatar Medical Physics Society (QaMPS) working for the National Center for Cancer Care and Research in Doha, Qatar. He is part of a group of amazingly committed volunteers from different parts of the globe that is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest peak in Africa, as a way of drawing attention to the campaign “RadiatingHope”.

RadiatingHope is a non-profit organization that makes radiotherapy services possible through the donation of equipment and professional training in countries in extreme scarcity of resources in this field.
