Qatar Medical Physics Society (QaMPS), in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) participated in the European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP) held on 17-20 August 2022 in Dublin, Ireland. This event was organized by the European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (EFOMP), the counterpart of MEFOMP in the region which is the mother organization of QaMPS.
Dr Huda Al Naemi, QaMPS President, led the QaMPS delegates: Ms Samya Al Manai, Mr Aram Rostami, and Mr Alla Fuad Al Sabahi attending this Congress.
A scientific paper entitled “Investigating the Effect of Exposure Condition on Image Quality of Digital Mammography Using a Simple Mammography Phantom and Dedicated Free Software” was presented orally by QaMPS delegates in addition to a poster entitled “Assessment of Patient Radiation Dose of Recurrent CT Procedures in Qatar”.
Other than sharing and learning about researches and current innovations in medical physics, delegates had the opportunity to network with their medical physics colleagues from all other parts of the world who attended the Congress.
